Within a couple of years of the 92 reunion in Dallas, I had collected 40 Ankara email addresses and created a database to keep track. In January of 99, I had just over 200. That's when Jill launched AnkaraReunion.com and we discovered how much fun we had working together. Over the years, Jill and I developed a strong friendship as we worked together to keep current with ever changing Ankara email addresses. As a result, our Ankara email list has grown to more than 1500 listings. We've also been keeping track of mailing addresses and telephone numbers as a backup in case an email address should fail. We continue a wonderful working relationship and the goal we share is to provide current online contact information and links to resources for making Ankara connections.

Once Jill, Karen and I started talking about Connections, it made sense to start fresh with a new web site and concentrate on what resources are available online. All we needed was a Trojan, and we found him thanks to Gordy Welch, who introduced us to John Hainley.

There's a wonderful simplicity in an email message. As a companion to Connections, I will continue to email you on a regular basis with announcements and links to resources; that has proven to be the best way to ensure your email address is current. If it fails, and we have a current mailing address for you, Jill will send you a postcard, or I will give you a ring.

The Ankara email list has always been a resource to reconnect and stay in touch. Jill, Karen and John share the same vision; we have pooled our resources to bring Ankara High School Connections online. I'm honored to be working with them and delighted that they are so much fun.

Reconnect, stay in touch, and enjoy Ankara High School Connections,
