LIFE EVENTS

This page was inspired by an electronic newsletter that Susan Curran 72 sends out every three months to her classmates in the seventies. It's a great way to find out what has been happening to your friends. With her permission, we have adapted her wonderful concept on this page.

Let us know what is happening in your life. Do you have an animal tale, a wedding, a new grandchild or something to brag about that you would like to share? That's part of the fun. Come on, be creative!! Share your life with us. Contact us today.

Professional

Huntsville, AL

Submitted by Bill Ingram 74

Miss Elmore, faculty

Not to be outdone by BRATS writer-director, Donna Musil, our beloved "Miss E" made the trek from North Carolina to Huntsville, the "Mecca of Modern Miracle Dentistry," to have services by Dr. Bil. She was happy as a lark, content as a clam, while she had her teeth fixed by Doc Ingram. Went from Ingramwork, dined out, and stayed at Ingramhome. Great fun was had by all!!

Friendship

Cygnet Lake, MT
September 2007
Submitted Anita Donohoe 66

In the nine years we have been working together on Connections, this was the first time Jill and I have spent time together.

On the plate is cacik, cucumber fingers and bread. Jill's ducks are looking out the window watching for rain.

The cork says Kavaklidere. Jill is wearing the
silver evil eye bead and pashmina shawl I brought her from Turkey. Nine more beads, one for each year we have worked together on Connections, are looped on the neck of the bottle of Yakut.

This is the condolence bottle of Kavaklidere Yakut where so many of you were on the card.

We are celebrating the success of Connections and the strength of our friendship with a glass of the Yakut. We drank to you, to Jill's late mother and to the deep bond of friendship we feel amongst Ankara Alumni.

Thank you for the wine and your wonderful support this year. I am fortunate to have many exceptional friends in my life. ~~Jill Park (Doyle) 71
