Taking A Chance

Janis Lieberman 68 won an audition for Principal French horn with the Israel Chamber Orchestra and has moved to Tel Aviv for a year.

“I came to Israel at the end of August to attend my niece Tallie's wedding (Sandy's daughter). Before I flew over I called some of my old music buds from my former experience in Israel in the early 90's. I told them I was coming for a visit and they said there was an audition and I should bring my horn...and so I did!”

Corie Strzelewicz's 85 son, Joshua, is a football player at Vintage High School in Napa, California. The Reporter, a local paper, wrote the following about the October 17, 2008 game: "Crushers' junior defensive end Josh Knoell added a 50-yard fumble return for a touchdown to complete Vintage's scoring."

Congratulations to Josh as it is not often that a defensive player has the opportunity to score.
