Thomas F. "Tony" Gaglione

Thomas Gaglione died while constructing a house in Chiangmai, Thailand. He is survived by his wife of 6 months, Thia, a 20-year nurse with a Masters in Public Health.

Tom held degrees in Nursing with a MSN in nursing education, Philosophy and Religion. He worked in Arizona and Minnesota as a community health, rural hospice and home care nurse. He taught Medical-Surgical Clinicals and NCLEX review courses for graduating RN and PN students at various colleges across the United States. He was the co-author of five nursing memory note card books using cartoons and play on words for nursing students.

 

In Thailand, he volunteered as a nurse in the rural areas and mountain tribal areas, working with the elderly and children with leprosy and HIV.
