Paul Hutchinson, 67, of Fredericksburg lost his long battle with cancer on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016.

He was a chef in the Fredericksburg area for the past 29 years, and taught culinary arts in Northern Virginia.

He is survived by his longtime partner, Karen Wanner; his sisters, Linda Biasetti and Darlene Sandeferd; brothers John Spengler and Michael Hutchinson; his children, William and Robin Hutchinson, and David Hutchinson; and three grandchildren, Gabe Elahwal, Leah Forman and William Hutchinson.

A service will be held at noon, Saturday, Feb. 20, at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

Interment will be in Quantico National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Spotsylvania County Career and Technical Center, Culinary Arts Program. 6713 Smith Station Road, Spotsylvania VA 22553.
