Bosphorus Boat

This is the beautiful boat we had to ourselves for the evening.

We had just left the pier when I shot these houses on the hill.

Dennis’ son, Mac, joined up with us in Ankara, and here they are relaxing on the upper deck during our dinner cruise on the Bosphorus.

Maria and Sue arranged this magical dinner cruise for us on the Bosphorus. The cool breeze was a welcome relief from Turkey’s unseasonable heat, as was the opportunity to sit and watch the sights go by. We did a lot of walking, climbing and standing during our tour! Yes, that is a can of Efes beer on the table.

Jeff and his clan of six--Jeff, his wife Debbie, and their two children and their friends--were in Istanbul at the end of their tour. They picked up a car in
Bodrum and drove around Turkey for three weeks. By chance, they were in the same hotel we had booked, and
they were able to join us on our dinner cruise.
